Scotair Balloons offer hot air balloon flights from Biggar, Lanark, Broughton and Crossford in the Clyde Valley all within a short drive of the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, Central Scotland and the Scottish Borders.
All of the balloon rides are scheduled in Scotland, seven days a week, from April 1st to the end of October.
As with all balloon trips, they are at the mercy of the weather. Patience is often required but the wait will be worth it.
Airborne Pursuits in Lanarkshire
Scotair Balloon flights leave from various locations in the area including the old Race Course on the outskirts of Lanark, the Shieldhill Castle Hotel near Biggar, Biggar Show Ground and Glenholm Wildlife Project.
A few other contingency sites are available in the area which may be used at very short notice.
This part of Lanarkshire was chosen for its wonderful scenery and road layouts. Since their launch in 1992 Scotair Balloons have strived to be No 1 in Scotland.
Scotair have flown more passengers in Scotland than all the other operators put together. Flying in a hot air balloon is a magical experience which is best enjoyed in a small basket with no more than 6 passengers.
This will give your Pilot and Crew the chance to get to know you and be able to spend a more relaxing time with you.
Don’t wait, contact Scotair Balloons today to book a really fun-filled day out.
Biggar is also home to other attractions such as the Biggar Puppet Theatre and Biggar Park, which are fantastic days out for the family.
